After winning the Giro d'Italia thanks to a sublime time trial at Monte Lussari, Primoz Roglic seems to have set himself the challenge of ending this second block of races of the season for himself by trying to get a victory at the Tour de Suisse.
In principle, the Slovenian will not be in the next Tour de France (it is not official yet) and will try to achieve a record in the Swiss round that no one has achieved to date in the history of cycling. And it is that the 3-time winner of the Vuelta a España and recent winner of the 'Senza Fine' trophy already has 6 of the 7 great one-week tours on the international calendar.
Of all the historical rounds, only Switzerland remains for Roglic, since to date he has the rest to his credit: Volta a Catalunya, Tour de Romandie, Paris-Nice, Tirreno-Adriatico, Itzulia Basque Country and Critérium du Dauphiné.
Arriving as he arrives in great form as he demonstrated at the end of the Giro d'Italia, where he really arrived with some impressive legs, there is no doubt that Primoz Roglic is the heavy favourite to clinch victory at the Swiss race and mark another historic milestone.
