Ayuso at Lidl-Trek
Juan Ayuso has signed with Lidl-Trek through 2030, sealing an early departure from UAE Team Emirates - XRG after internal tensions and an ill-defined role. The move underlines the American team’s bet on one of the brightest young talents in the peloton and opens the door for him to lead the Tour de France. In his new squad, Ayuso will take on major responsibilities in Grand Tours and stage races, with high performance expectations and a pivotal role in the team’s medium- and long-term project. Evenepoel in Red Bull
Remco Evenepoel, a double Olympic champion and one of the sport’s marquee names has left Soudal - Quick-Step to join Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe. Confirmed after months of speculation, the transfer marks a significant shift in his career, with a sharper focus on Grand Tours, especially the Tour de France.
His arrival also reshapes the German team, already featuring riders like Florian Lipowitz, Jai Hindley and Primoz Roglic, prompting a new leadership balance and strengthening their ambitions to contend head-to-head in the Grand Tours. Here he is in his new colours at last:
