I get a free role there and can then see where I stand. Especially with the presence of someone like Tadej Pogacar, it is nice to see where I am now. In the coming months I can see how we will get to that level.”
The Belgian has finished in the Top10 of the Vuelta a Espana last year and is one of the brightest stage-racing talents in development. He was in a hotly discussed transfer this winter, breaking his contract with BORA - hansgrohe in order to join the Dutch team. This happened in early December, and ever since he's taken part in the training camp and team presentation.
