- I agree, and for the record nobody is on Pogis level yet. But, back to your original comment. Paul is very good and very young. He very well could be the future. However, Remco was treated like this and he has been good but not amazing. As well as making some very odd excuses for not doing well. Most riders say they had a bad day and hope tomorrow is better. Remco says something that sounds like he went to chatGPT and said make an excuse based on a car an boat and my seat. Not as bad as Jonas is with excuses but closing in. Let's hope Paul can win and lose with dignity
- I think Bobo is right and that there’s a bit of prejudice here because of who Remco is married to and the faith they’ve decided to share
One thing I like about him is he is never afraid to say what he believes, and isn’t afraid to be his own person, regardless of what the world thinks
I’m not a fan of his but do admire his persistence in being himself
He wins a lot, he complains a lot, he tells the world what he’s thinking, and he loves his wife
Good for him
- With all the hype being created around Seixas, I hope that he can handle the pressure and weight of expectations - both physical and mental.
- sounds like a race strategy to me
- Maybe it's islamophobia...
- He just about edged out Juan Ayuso on stage 2 of the Algarvia, and had no chance in the sprint on stage 5, Ayuso was superior and Seixas had no chance whatsoever. Ayuso is more punchy but is not considered suited to the Mur de Huy. Seixas outsprinted Florian Lipowitz on the fifth stage of Itzulia but Lipo can't sprint anyway so that is a low bar.
As I said, French Fever
- They went over a manhole cover on the turn. That was the reason on the crash.
- Do not understand how he is planning to ride with broken collarbone. Thought the team manager may have mentioned that on the interview🙂🙂
- His punch is greatly overrated
- If they want him to get 8m per year they have to spend like 20m per year. There's social security and taxes in France the team has to pay
