UCI Rankings Team Update | UAE blast away from competition as Marc Hirschi wins Clasica San Sebastian

Marc Hirschi's victory at the Clásica San Sebastián continues to prove that UAE Team Emirates is the strongest team this year by far and is able to deliver quality leaders for all kinds of races throughout the season. The team expands it's lead in the UCI rankings even further this week.

UAE Team Emirates has in the last updated scored another 800 points, continuing to score big as they took the win (and three Top10 riders) and the Clásica San Sebastián with Marc Hirschi whilst Finn Fisher-Black also contributed with a podium at the Vuelta a Burgos. They have effectively grown their lead over Team Visma | Lease a Bike who won the Spanish stage-race with Sepp Kuss. INEOS Grenadiers, Soudal - Quick-Step and Lidl-Trek follow, with the positions unchanged.

Groupama lost two positions and is now 11th, overtaken by Lotto Dstny (from 11th to 9th) and Israel Premier-Tech who remains in the same position but was overtaken by the Belgian team as the best-scoring ProTeam of the year so far. Arkéa - B&B Hotels have regained the 16th spot over Intermarché - Wanty whilst at the bottom of the standings the situation remains the same.
