Profile. The 41st Volta ao Alentejo Crédito Agrícola was officially presented yesterday and we can now confirm that the race will be 852.7 kilometers long, divided into five stages taking place between March 20 and 24, 2024.

At the moment, 15 teams have been confirmed to make up the squad, including 1 World Tour team, 1 ProTeam and 13 continental teams, 9 of which will be Portuguese.

The race, which was won by Orluis Aular of Caja Rural in 2023, once again features a long menu of stages with sprint finishes, with the most mountainous day on stage 4, which will link Monforte and Castelo de Vide, the only stage that will be conducive to an escape or even for a team that doesn't have good sprinters to try their chance at winning a stage in the Alentejo.
