As reported by Ouest-France, the most influential newspaper in Bretagne,
Movistar Team's sport director
Yvon Ledanois will become part of the Arkéa-Samsic staff in 2024, with the French team will be renamed Arkéa-B&B Hôtels.
Although Movistar Team has been talking about renewal for some years, the truth is that the latest movements in the technical staff seem a step backwards, with the consolidation of former riders like Chente García Acosta or the landing of José Joaquín Rojas and the departure of men who wanted to modernize the system as Patxi Vila. Now it is Ledanois who is leaving.
We don't know what Movistar Team's strategic plan for 2024 will be, but there is no doubt that Matteo Jorgenson's criticism of the team for its obsolete methodology in terms of nutrition and training must have made some echo within the structure.
The performance of some riders like Carlos Verona who has also left the team rejecting a renewal and seems to be underperforming is yet another example of a team that must turn its structure around to survive in modern cycling.

Ledanois has gone back to where he came from a year ago. This is more about him and Arkea than him and Movistar. Quintana's arrival may not have helped as Ledanois was quick to distance himself from him when both were leaving Arkea. It is too easy to bash Movistar though.
