"Tadej Pogacar is capable of winning all five Monuments" - Marc Soler expecting big things from his team leader

Tadej Pogacar is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars and most prodigious talents in the peloton today. One man who knows this better than anyone is his UAE Team Emirates teammate, Marc Soler.

"I want to help the team achieve good results. Hopefully next year it will be even better," Soler says in conversation with Eciclismo after having completed his second season in UAE Team Emirates colours after moving from Movistar. "We have a number of men who carry the team, who can achieve victories."

The star of the team is the Slovenian however, and with three of Cycling's monuments already on Pogacar's palmares, Soler is confident his teammate can complete the set. Something only Rik Van Looy, Eddy Merckx, and Roger De Vlaeminck have ever managed to achieve.

"Tadej Pogacar is capable of winning all five Monuments in his career," Soler predicts. So far Pogacar has won the Tour of Flanders and Liège–Bastogne–Liège once each with a trio of Il Lombardia victories to his name. What do you think, can Pogacar become just the fourth man in history to achieve this illustrious feat?
