"I feel a lot of trust from the team" - INEOS Grenadiers renew with one of it's young talents Kim Heiduk

INEOS Grenadiers kept it's renewals and signings a secret for a long time but have over the past few days been revealing all of their background work. Today a few more re-signings have been revealed and Kim Heiduk will be among those staying with the team for longer.

"In one way, the last two years with the Team have gone super fast, then in another it feels like I’ve been here a lot longer because of how happy I am here," the German said in a message shared by the team. "I‘m thankful to be a rider for the INEOS Grenadiers and really excited to continue my journey with the Team. I’m happy with how I’ve developed as a rider over the last two seasons and want to continue like this."

The 23-year old signed with INEOS in 2022 on a two-year contract and now signed a second one. Although he did not race for his own results much this year, he had a few which indicated his potential. Heiduk is a rouleur and the team has understood that his skills lie in the slightly hilly terrain as well as the flats. He has been supporting the British team's modest sprinting ambitions, as well as it's GC contenders.

"In this Team there is a lot of experience and it’s an honour to learn from some of the best riders in the peloton. Especially from riders like Luke, G and Kwiato, just to name a few, they share their experiences on and off the bike," he says, aiming to become one of the team's most reliable domestiques. "Every day it feels special to be a rider on such a successful team, it really means a lot to me. This Team is different, you feel how fans cheer for us, it’s iconic. I‘m super happy to continue with the INEOS Grenadiers. I feel a lot of trust from the team in my abilities and want to, with their support, continue to grow into a better rider."
