Jonathan Milan however, there was little challenge to Vingegaard's 1:24 lead in the general classification.
"We made the plan before the race that we wanted to go for two stages. Two out of seven is not so much so yeah, we made a goal out of this and we succeeded. The team was very, very strong," Vingegaard concludes. "We can be very happy with not only how I rode, but how the whole team rode."
