BORA - hansgrohe will start the seventh stage of the
Tour de Suisse with only three riders as they report their third casualty from Covid-19,
Marco Haller.
The news come as no surprise as yesterday race leader Aleksandr Vlasov and Anton Palzer both tested positive, indicating that the outbreak is currently inside the German team's bubble. Nevertheless the team stays in the race, as Sergio Higuita is currently sitting in third position in the overall classification.
Supporting him will be two riders who themselves are having an impressive race: Felix Grossschartner who's currently fifth in the GC and Max Schachmann who sits 12th after a crash on stage four saw him shed some time. The team has quality but is loosing more and more depth, meaning they'll have less capacity to attack the race.
