Burgos-BH's Victor Langellotti has taken the win on stage 6 of the 2023 Tour of Turkey after a leg-sapping final climb to the line.
Although there was some confusion regarding the exact time difference between breakaway and peloton, heading into the final 30km, the leaders looked to have a considerable advantage. On a dusty descent towards the final climb, numerous riders went down including Ryan Gibbons of UAE Team Emirates.
With 10km to go, five riders held a slim advantage over a chase group but the peloton would not be denied and swallowed up everyone ahead of the final climb. On that final climb, Domen Novak attacked clear, although Giulio Pellizzari bridged across and came straight around in the final few hundred metres. At the line though, it was Victor Langellotti who won ahead of Alexey Lutsenko.
