Although not very technical, it was a heavily disputed finale with TotalEnergies and Israel - Premier Tech keeping their sprinters well positioned towards the final kilometer. However in the final meters where it mattered, Israel and Intermarché saw their leadouts function putting some order on the sprint.
As the static camera in the finish line showed Alexander Kristoff making a dash for the line, it was complicated to tell who was coming for the win, with a very chaotic finale. Bauhaus had come from behind and took advantage of the headwind to time his move perfectly, taking a very tight win with
Giacomo Nizzolo and
Kaden Groves taking second and third places.
Tadej Pogacar arrived safely in the peloton and conquered his second Tirreno-Adriatico alongside the youth and points classifications, with Jonas Vingegaard and Mikel Landa completing the podium.
Quinn Simmons took the KOM classification home and Bahrain - Victorious were the team classification winners.
