From the 7th to the 11th of September the women's peloton will be going through the roads of Spain as they tackle the
Ceratizit Challenge by La Vuelta, one of the most important races in the calendar, which is raced alongside the men's Vuelta a Espana.
The second stage of the race will be perhaps the hardest, with a start and finish in Colindres, however with a lot of climbing inbetween. The 106-kilometer stage will feature an initial section with two ascents that will set the stage up in terms of breakaway and some tactical moves, but it will all be played out towards the end. 6Km at 6% (45Km to go), 6.1Km at 6% (25Km to go) and 3.1Km at 8% (12Km to go) will be the sequence of ascents the riders will face, more than enough terrain to create some serious differences before the final 10 kilometers where they can be either closed or extended.
Stage 2: Colindres - Colindres, 105.9Km
