Video: Fan throws red jersey for Remco Evenepoel to sign, gets refused

The 17th stage of the Vuelta a Espana saw Remco Evenepoel succeed in defending his red jersey, however after the stage another red jersey took the spotlight, as cameras caught an unusual moment involving the Belgian and a fan.

Right after the stage, as Evenepoel prepared to warm down, a fan and his son had a jersey which they were looking to get signed. However as Evenepoel did not go near the pair, the parent threw the jersey in the Vuelta leader's direction. There was little response from Evenepoel besides a look, as a photographer later handed the jersey back.
