This Tuesday, 9th of December,
was scheduled to be the presentation of the newly rebranded NSN Cycling Team. The squad formerly known as Israel - Premier Tech had a complete sponsor change and had its license bought by a different entity into the 2026 season, and with it comes a new name and new colours. Colours that will certainly stand out in the peloton throughout the new season.
"Redesigning the ride. Introducing our 2026 jersey, inspired by NSN’s home city of Barcelona," the team shared in a message on social media. Alongside it, a short 16-second video that showed the new equipments on full display in the roads of Spain. The jersey is a mix between light blue, orange and white, without clear patterns and with a few designs spread throughout the jersey. An unusual design, one that is quite different from the rest of the World Tour teams at the moment.
"Its design blends geometry, color blocks, and patterns reminiscent of contemporary BCN. This is a city that never stands still, where tradition meets modernity, movement becomes identity, and where people dare to dream big. The design also features hints of the Rwanda Imigongo artform as a nod to the team’s ongoing Racing for Change project".
The team continues to have many of the riders and staff that raced in the same structure in 2025, but will go into the 2026 season with a brand new leader in Biniam Girmay, who is set to be the team's head sprinter and also one of its best cards for the spring classics. The departures of Derek Gee and Matthew Riccitello leave it depleted of Grand Tour options, and the team will go back to a more sprinter-oriented focus with Jake Stewart, Ethan Vernon and Corbin Strong as other leaders, whilst there is also hope of a recovery for Stephen Williams after the effects of a lingering tendon injury.
