The 2026 Giro d’Italia classifications will evolve day by day across three weeks of racing between 8 May and 31 May, from the Grande Partenza in Bulgaria all the way to the final stage in Rome. Every summit finish, sprint stage, breakaway, and time trial has the potential to reshape the fight for the Maglia Rosa and the Giro’s other jerseys.
This live classifications hub will be updated after every stage of the Giro d’Italia with the latest General Classification standings, Points Classification, Mountains Classification, and Best Young Rider rankings. As the race develops, this page will track every major movement in the battle for pink, ciclamino, azzurro, and white.
From Jonas Vingegaard’s Maglia Rosa challenge to Jonathan Milan’s fight for ciclamino, this page will follow every major standings change across all four jersey competitions throughout the 2026 Giro d’Italia.

General Classification Standings after Stage 3

The third stage of the race did not deliver on the action GC-wise, so in terms of the overall classification, we end the day with the same outcome as when the riders began.
Guillermo Thomas Silva will carry the pink jersey through the race's first rest day after winning stage 2. He holds the lead of the overall classification with 4 seconds over Tudor's Florian Stork and Egan Bernal - who is the first of the true GC contenders.
Thymen Arensman and Giulio Ciccone are 6 seconds away from the lead, whilst the main bulk of the GC contenders are tied 10 seconds behind. Whilst there are many position changes within the Top25, they do not refer to time losses, but instead changes due to the riders' stage results.

Points Classification Standings after Stage 3

Paul Magnier has been bringing in points in a consistent basis and positions himself as the main favourite to win this classification. With two bunch sprints battled - and won - by the Frenchman, he has already gathered 105 points. This is a meaningful step towards the potential triumph on the maglia ciclamino competition.
Jonathan Milan now has 64 points, a gap that can be closed in one sprint, but that will now begin depending on Magnier having issues. The gap is not meaningless. Tobias Lund Andresen has dropped down to third after only finishing ninth on stage 3; whilst Madis Mihkels is now fourth after two consistent performances in the bunch sprints.

King of the Mountains Standings after Stage 3

With a third consecutive breakaway, Diego Pablo Sevilla is bringing in the benefits of his efforts over to Team Polti VisitMalta. The Spaniard is leading the KOM classification and has been carrying the Maglia Azurra since day 1, and continues to increase on its lead.
A quality climber, it can't be ruled out that Sevilla is positioning himself as a serious contender to win the classification. After three stages, which did not have any meaningful climbs ridden, he now has 42 points already. Manuele Tarozzi, also present in today's move, is second with a mere 12 points.
Jonas Vingegaard currently has 9 and may be the biggest threat at the time being; whilst Christian Scaroni's sprint to gather 4 points today is also a notable moment, as the Astana rider may be signaling his intentions to go for the classification in this race.

Youth Classification Standings after Stage 3

Much like the overall classification, the youth classification remains on the same terms. Silva is leading the classification, but as he is already the GC leader, it will be Jan Christen who carries the white jersey that he took over from his teammate António Morgado after stage 2.

Teams Classification Standings after Stage 3

On the team's classification the situation remains the same, with no time gaps meaning the top teams remain tied in time. Six riders had at least three riders finish in the front group on stage 2, and with Astana being one of them, they lead the classification as they have race leader Guillermo Thomas Silva in their ranks.
