Dylan Teuns doesn't yet have a contract for 2023, and discussions are being held in the background regarding his future in the peloton, as Bahrain - Victorious are reported to have little interest in keeping the Belgian puncheurs, whilst several other teams report that interest.
According to rumours, Bahrain - Victorious are "little enthusiastic" to sign Teuns, and that the Belgian "would not fit well in philosophy and would be quite 'quirky'". Belgian news outlet Het Laatste Nieuws reports that there are teams interested in contracting Teuns, with Lotto Soudal and Intermarché - Wanty - Gobert Matériaux between them, this coming right after the Belgian's surprise win at Flèche Wallone.
Recently, Teuns has talked about his future, however he was clear that no decisions had been taken regarding his path for the coming years: “I'm thirty and I want to sign a good contract. That may be for three years, but it doesn't have to be. I just want to be appreciated. We'll see what comes out of the bus."
A part of the Bahrain squad since 2019, Teuns has won two stages at the Tour de France, aswell as stages at the Tour de Pologne and Vuelta a Andalucia. In the coming weeks he will be racing Liège-Bastogne-Liège and Tour de Romandie where he is expected to further feature in some finales.
