Anthony Delaplace wins Paris-Camembert

Team Arkéa Samsic are keeping their strong early-season rhythm as Paris-Camembert has been conquered by Anthony Delaplace. This makes for the team's ninth win of the season which has further bolstered their chances of promoting to World Tour level in the coming season.

The 213-kilometer long classic wasn't too hard but it featured several hills which were enough to create a selection that would end up battling for the race win. 11 years after his one and only win as a professional rider, Anthony Delaplace was in the leading group and launched a fierce attack inside the final 1.5 kilometers.

It was one timed to perfection, as hesitation in the chasing group allowed him to build a gap that he had the legs to keep. The Arkéa rider took an emotional win, beating TotalEnergie's Valentin Ferron and B&B Hotels-KTM's Thibault Ferasse who completed the podium.
