Tim Pidcock could hardly have dreamed of a better start to life at the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team than the one he has just had at the 2025 AlUla Tour in Saudi Arabia. Winning two stages and the overall general classification, Pidcock even found time to turn provider on the final stage, helping teammate Matteo Moschetti to the stage win.
Taking to his official Instagram after the dust had settled, Pidcock reflected on what had been the perfect way to send a message following his much-discussed departure from the INEOS Grenadiers over the recent off-season. "Someone told me the expression that fits is ‘a rising tide lifts all boats’…. This team, Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team is the rising tide and everyone involved has lifted their game," began the double Olympic gold medal winning Brit.
In his entire road career at the INEOS Grenadiers, Pidcock celebrated five professional wins. Now, in just five race days with his new team, the 25-year-old has added three victories to his palmares. "I could not be more proud of the boys and the whole team right now!" Pidcock adds on Instagram, clearly full of praise for his new teammates. "Excited for what’s to come."
As for what's to come, next up for Pidcock is another stage race and a chance for more general classification success at the 2025 Vuelta a Andalucia, starting on the 19th of February. From there, it's all about the Classics as the former Amstel Gold Race and Strade Bianche winner heads kicks off the Spring at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad.
