When you are the best road cyclist in the world, then yes - second at TdF is a "failure". Even though others would strive and never achieve the high level represented by that failure.

If Ciccone had helped Gee as much as possible ge might have been in contention fir the podium but wouldn't have been allowed into thr breakaway on stage 19. Therefore, the time he gained on stage 19 would've been lost, cancelling out Ciccone's work

This year actually both Visma and UAE have already completed their much wanted targets. PR and Giro for Visma and MSR+TOF+LBL for UAE, rest all is now bonus

Pogi will beat Jonas in TTDF. Seixas will beat him too! But I am really excited and hope that everyone stays injury free, and may the best rise to the top! Good luck!

Or if Ciccone had actually helped Gee maybe they could have fought for a GC podium

When did Tadej beat Jonas at his best? Last time Jonas was at his best was 2023 (or the Giro 2026). I also hope they are both at their best this summer.

Does anyone know when was last time Vingegaard won a race with Pogi being present? It was the 2023 Tour de France. He hasn't won a race since then and never will again. Vinnie can be happy that Pog isn't copying his schedule 2024-2026 because Vingegaard would have retired a long time ago. PS: An Italian cycling journalist, Michele Pelacci, said: "Italians took to the streets in 2024 to see Pogacar and in 2026 they took to the streets to see the Giro." ... This is a sentence that hits the spot.
