  Interesting, seems like Pozzovizo misses racing too much. The Tour of the Alps is his favourite race and he'll try for a breakaway stage win. The GC favourite is Giulio Pellizzari (Pozzovizo's successor) who is 11 years his junior. It'll be interesting what happens if we have Pellizzari's GC attack vs Pozzovizo's attempt at the breakaway

  after he emptied the tank like that on friday, it seemed very unlikely he’d be fully recovered by sunday’s flanders fields. he’s human. he does get drained and it takes him time to recover. in this he’s very different from pog, who is never tired, never depleted, never less than 110%.

  Sorry but you’re out of order there. Much as it is easy and understandable to criticise him, his palmarès is different but just as impressive especially for someone 10 years behind for the total, also a proven champion. If you consider GTs and discount Tadej and Jonas the results are not so different, you forget most of Primoz’ good GTs results also came in their absence. On the contrary, it is interesting to compare and will become more interesting.

  You can’t compare Remco and Roglic… Rolic is proven champ (5 GTs, almost all WT stage races except tour and Swiss, Olympic to gold…) and Remco is expensive domestic

  Somebody must tell Evenepoel that he is not Tadej and this is not a one day race. He needs to be good in the mountains and TTs. Crosswinds and flats forget it. He is crash prone.
