Soudal - Quick-Step continue to strengthen their roster ahead of the 2026 season. Following the rumoured arrivals of
Steff Cras,
Jasper Stuyven and
Edward Planckaert, 'The Wolfpack' are reportedly set to go back to
Alpecin-Deceuninck for another swoop.
According to a report by Het Laatste Nieuws, Soudal - Quick-Step have strengthened their ranks for next season by bringing in Planckaert's current teammate at Alpecin-Deceuninck,
Fabio van Den Bossche.
The 24-year-old Belgian earned a bronze medal in the omnium at the Paris Olympics, is known for his versatility and strong roots in track cycling. He turned professional on the road in 2020 with Sport Vlaanderen-Baloise and has been part of the Alpecin-Deceuninck setup since 2022. Although he is yet to take a win at the professional level, he did come close last year, finishing second on the final stage of the Tour of Antalya.
The report also suggests that Soudal - Quick-Step's transfer market is not stopping with the acquisition of Van den Bossche. HLN also report that Arkéa-B&B Hotels' Jenthe Biermans could also be on his way to 'The Wolfpack'. On the outs meanwhile, both Pieter Serry and Jordi Warlop are expected to depart once their contract finishes at the end of the 2025 season.
