- Flat Course...everything else is Pogi's playground, you stick a climb in there bigger than an autoroute overpass its a no brainer
- Tadej’s kryptonite is no secret. It’s a flat course. His biggest weapon is steep climbs where he accelerates faster than anyone else and gets a gap that he can sustain till the end. This race changes nothing in my opinion
- In a Stage race UAE can control matters then Pog fires off, it works, surmounting his power is what Teams need to handle...
- This is unfortunately a rather common occurrence in post cycling careers. Possibly through the lack of experience in normal family life and relationships but it’s always the other party that pays the real price.
- Yeah although by that time it was probably down to 75 ;-)

- You’re so right. And even when, they are usually remembered incredibly partially often because the reporting and discussion loses all context. Historians don’t always do great work but that’s more and more understandable when you consider how few people actually care or are interested.
- I notice our Senna fan is gone now too.
As you may have noticed, there are many ways of looking at things and these days everyone does more or less as they please cf Trump/Neta/Puty. So, it’s fine to have opinion differences.
I could also have suggested he was teasing he might attempt a GT triple next year and would therefore not concentrate on classics but I don’t want to deprive others of coming up with alternative suggestions as to why a guy we aren’t in the mind of says something unclear.
But in a way I feel flattered you felt like discussing my suggestion rather than making one yourself.
Question to get things clarified, are you saying Tadej’s « decision is pretty stupid?
- TNT showed van Hooydonck's reaction - it was genuine emotion and disbelief. Also Richard Plugge must have done some serious weights to be able to lift the 78 kg of Wout van Aert
- Juan Antonio Flecha:
“You can’t start making excuses for everyone who had problems… it’s normal that things happen,”
