Yes, that was obvious. It's just like Jonas Vingegaard's attack on Stage 1 of the Dauphinè. Of course it was painful (everything in pro cycling is painful) but he chose to say it in order to lower expectations (?). Remember when Wout saying "It took you a long time to realise that" when an interviewer remarked that pro cyclists don't actually say what they think. Those are not jokes (if they are seen as jokes they'd be seen as being extremely offensive). Pogačar does, however, appear to have a certain level of fear towards Ayuso (many signs during his time in UAE, and unlike with Evenepoel's transfer, he didn't say anything) and Seixas (logical). On another note Pogačar has PTSD for situations when he has to sprint against van der Poel... he always looks so panicked

Chris Froome is still on the market. He hasn't officially hung up his bike. You can thank me later, INEOS.

Good point Vuelta less pressure and we need to remember he is only 19 or 20 years old

Pogi also likes to joke around. He said: "The fact that Evenepoel will become stronger after the transfer scares me." He's just being polite. There's no one that scares him for GC. Probably the only guy who scares him even a bit is MVDP and that's just for specific races like the classics. Spoiler Alert: Remco still has no chance.

Joke of the month: "Remco Evenepoel aims for three Championship titles in 2026." ...ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...

It makes you wonder why didn't he bulk up and concentrate on classics? He can do classics well as it is, but he's definitely not going to beat the best climbers based on W/kg metric.

It looks like it. Remco is desperate to be a great allrounder like Pog. I wish I thought otherwise, but I suspect that that Remco is due to be embarrassed a few times. this season. I''ll cheer him on gladly if I'm wrong.

Not just food. Tadej also famously suffered under heat more so than others. He only started heat adapted training in 2024.

If Seixas and Del Toro raced Paris-Nice (Pogi isn't needed), Vinni the Fish would be in third place. Ad acta.

Brailsford's presence should be enough to stop them hiring Seixas.
