Tom Pidcock has already had a big impact on things at the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. With just one race in his legs, the Brit has already helped to add 4 victories to the team's record for 2025. Although his racing programme for the year was recently confirmed by the team, Pidcock's coach insists nothing is set in stone, with the Giro d'Italia looming large.

On Pidcock's already confirmed schedule are stage races: the Vuelta a Andalucia and Tirreno-Adriatico, plus Spring Classics: Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, Strade Bianche, Milano-Sanremo, Brabantse Pijl, the Amstel Gold Race, Fleche Wallonne and finally, Liege-Bastogne-Liege. As mentioned though, according to Kurt Bogaerts at least, that doesn't mean that these are the only race for the Brit during this time period. "It’s not a definite calendar. We need to see how things are going and how Tom feels after the block with Milan-San Remo," explains Bogaerts to Daniel Benson. "We have the option to always change the programme, and we have the races, and that’s a good point, but he can’t do every race. That’s impossible."

"If you start from AlUla until Liege, that’s a long block, and then you need to make choices and find time to train as well. Let’s see how everything progresses and make regular evaluations. I think that Tom is someone who likes to have a certain freedom, so he can potentially change if he wants to change, and then we’ll see," Bogaerts continues. "If everything works out well with no crashes, injuries or sickness, then this is highly likely his program, but things can still change."

One of the big questions surrounding Pidcock's calendar is whether or not Q36.5 get an invite to the Giro d'Italia. "It’s really nice that we have other races that we can race and we can juggle when we need to, for example, a potential start in the Giro. We definitely need to look at things," Bogaerts says on the prospect, opening the door to Pidcock's involvement if a wildcard is received. "We’re not going to go to the Giro just to start. You never know, but it’s not immediately for GC. But he definitely wants to play a key role in a few stages and to try and win there. You need to have mental and physical freshness for that."
