Landa has a track record of successful participations at the Tour, twice finishing in 4th place - including his most recent participation in 2020. He will be a main figure for Bahrain in the coming edition, specially after returning to his best level this season.
Landa has also revealed his expected schedule for the early months of the season which include participations at the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana where he wants to start his season. Tirreno-Adriatico,
Itzulia Basque Country and the two most difficult Ardennes classics - Fléche Wallone and Liège-Bastogne-Liége - are likely to be his races for the first half of the season.
