After the earlier announcement of an extra team added to the Grand Tour lineups in 2025, the Tour de France has now unveiled each and every team that are set to compete in the most watched race in the sport later this summer.
The edition this year saw arguably as tougher fight for the wildcards as ever before. The influx of big-name talents such as Julian Alaphilippe, Marc Hirschi and Tom Pidcock to second tier sides has seen the Tudor Pro Cycling Team and the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team rise though the ranks, pushing the recent regulars of the Tour de France, TotalEnergies and Uno-X Mobility. As mentioned, an extra team has been added to the race this year, so with the 18 World Tour teams and the automatic invitations of Lotto and Israel - Premier Tech, that meant only one of the three hopefuls would be disappointed.
As it turns out, that team to miss out has been announced to be Tom Pidcock's Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. As confirmed by the Tour de France, the Tudor Pro Cycling Team, TotalEnergies and Uno-X Mobility will all compete at the upcoming edition of the world's most famous bike race. Will any of the teams be able to make an impact this summer? Time will tell!
