Team
TotalEnergies have
confirmed their eight-rider lineup for the
2026 Tour de France, with
Jordan Jegat set to lead the French team’s ambitions in what will be their final appearance at the race under the TotalEnergies banner.
The team will start their 27th
Tour de France in Barcelona, with the route heading back into the Pyrenees before moving towards Bordeaux, the North-East and then the Alps, where a double ascent of Alpe d’Huez awaits.
For TotalEnergies, the selection is built less around a full general classification project and more around stage-hunting, breakaways and mountain support for Jegat. The 27-year-old was one of the standout French stories of the 2025 Tour, finishing 10th overall in Paris. Now heading into his third Tour de France, Jegat returns as the team’s clearest climbing card, with TotalEnergies stating that he will target a stage victory this time around.

Three Tour debutants named in support of Jegat
Nicolas Breuillard, Joris Delbove and
Thibault Guernalec will all make their Tour de France debuts. Breuillard, a new signing for the team, has been selected as mountain support after quickly establishing himself as a reliable climbing option.
Delbove also arrives with momentum, having recently finished on the podium at the French Championships. The 25-year-old won the Tour of Langkawi last year and also became French cyclo-cross champion in January, giving TotalEnergies another useful option for the mountain stages around Jegat.
Guernalec brings more experience to the squad, despite this being his first Tour. Known primarily for his time-trial ability, the Breton rider is expected to offer stability across the three weeks and play a role on the individual time-trial days.

Turgis and Vercher return as stage options
Anthony Turgis gives the lineup its most proven Tour pedigree. The 32-year-old, who won the gravel stage to Troyes at the 2024 Tour de France, will make his ninth appearance at the race and again gives TotalEnergies an option on stages where experience, positioning and tactical sense matter.
Matteo Vercher also returns after going close to a surprise Tour stage win in 2024, when he finished second on stage 18. Since then, he has taken his first professional victory at the Tour du Doubs and will look for opportunities across the race’s varied terrain.
Alexandre Delettre and
Mathis Le Berre complete the eight-man selection, with both expected to animate rolling stages and look for breakaway chances. The team’s staff will be led by Romain Sicard and Cyril Lemoine, with former professional Tony Gallopin also joining as an expert consultant from July 1.
