- I sure as F hope they don't make prima Donna the team lead, Remco is so ungrateful and his road Olympic is in no small way the product of Wout being marked and letting Remco get away.
- Let's have a white jersey with black sleeves and branding on the front... oh, wait
- No matter how they trend it aint gonna give them Gts or Monuments with their squad.
BETTER CALL PAUL
- Too bad, I like their current kit... it's easy to pick out. Netcompany's branding isn't giving them much to go on... white letters / black background or vice versa.
- Gory
- +Evenepoel, and if Thibau Nys gets back to form, Belgium have 3 big cards.
- I was at the Montreal GP at which Wout finished 2nd to Pogacar. In a strong field, Wout was with Pog until the last few hundred meters, at which point there was a 180-degree hairpin into an uphill finish. Much better suited for Pog after 15k of climbing to come to a nearly complete stop and then accelerate up the hill. If it had finished on a flat, Wout would have won.
But it didn't, so he didn't, and Pog is even better now. But with a bit less climbing for the WC course, Wout absolutely has a chance. He is on cracking form, and he has acknowledged that the win on Montmartre (albeit with Pog not at his best) rejuvenated his confidence. His performances this spring will obviously have added to that confidence. As long as he stays healthy, he would in my view be on the short list of favorites behind Pog.
- Liege is the first race of the season that really suits Pogi the G.O.A.T. So far he has been on "foreign territory" in all four races... but on Sunday he plays at home, on his own turf, and you all know how it ends in 99% of the time. You don't need Mou to draw it for you... d'ya?
- Dear French friends, today we celebrate " Paul Seixas Day"!!! The 1st teenager to break all records completely clean, no doping. His drive and strength is a God-given talent, and not like that doped Slovenian, shame on him. But since we are French, a superior nation, we will manage to beat doped Slovenian-COMPLETELY CLEAN!
PS: The French are my favorite nation, I simply adore them, such wonderful people who have no prejudices, no complexes of higher values the world has never seen. I think Macron and his girlfriend/boyfriend should be the leaders of the new world. Vive la France, the most "honest" people in the world. I want French citizenship, I don't want to be a Balkan anymore. Ad acta!!!
PS: Balkan Sarcasm Press
- Tadej Pogacar will get a jump on Seixas and Evenepoel on La Redoute but this is where the race could turn against Pogacar if Seixas and Evenepoel work together to chase down Pogacar. They have roughly 30 miles to do it. Not an impossible task. This scenario is what makes this race exciting.
