The stage-races that Tadej Pogacar did not win as a pro rider - And the riders who beat him since 2019

Tadej Pogacar is the best cyclist in the world and in 2024 he has completed what is probably the best season in history, surpassing Eddy Merckx's 1972. The Slovenian is an exceptional classicist and an insatiable stage-racer, but he has not always won. We take a look at the races where he didn't win and who did at the time.
The first to do so was Daryl Impey at the 2019 Tour Down Under: he also fell that first year to Ion Izagirre, Diego Ulissi and Primoz Roglic in his only participation in the Vuelta a España. He fell in 2020 to Adam Yates and Daniel Martinez. Here's the detailed list courtesy of the folks at Cycling Statistics:

2022 (4 races / 3 wins for Pogacar):
- Tour de France: Jonas Vingegaard (2nd)
2023 (3 races / 2 wins for Pogacar):
- Tour de France: Jonas Vingegaard (2nd)
2024 (3 races / 3 wins for Pogacar):
- Undefeated
