For Vauquelin, the season will begin on February 2. The Frenchman will make his debut at home with the Grand Prix La Marseillaise. He will then continue in his home country with several more races before heading to Italy. There, he will have 3 major challenges, the last one being the
Milano-Sanremo.
For Démare, meanwhile, the program will follow a different route. The 33-year-old will start at the Challenge Mallorca, but will race only the Trofeo Palma. He will then join Kevin Vauquelin in the Etoile de Besseges, before returning to Spain. His big goal will eventually be Paris-Nice 2025.
Arnaud Démare managed to finish last season well with a victory in Paris-Chauny. Arkea has high expectations for a rider who, despite that win, failed to perform well in his second year with the team. He will now enter the final year of his contract, so it is expected that he would raise his level even further in an important year.
