Primoz Roglic is back in the peloton and according to
Jumbo-Visma, he has fully recovered from his injury earlier in the year and should be able to focus on the preparation for the Tour de France without worries.
"He had to rest for a while but he feels much better now and it hasn't disrupted his training schedule too much," Team DS Grischa Niermann said before the start of the Critérium du Dauphiné where the Slovenian has returned to competition.
After a knee injury that surfaced at the Itzulia Basque Country, Roglic wasn't able to fight for the win and later on had to miss out on the Ardennes classics. A blow, but the 32-year old quickly had his mind on the Tour de France, and was patient in recovery before restarting training at Sierra Nevada where he's been with several of his teammates for three weeks.
This week he will be on shared leadership duties alongside Jonas Vingegaard at the Dauphiné. It will be more of a test then a real hunt for the overall classification, however the duo is hinted as the two main favourites to win the race outright.
