The 2024 season is more than over and, although we know that Tadej Pogacar is by far the cyclist who has raised his arms the most during the year, it seems a good time to review the riders who have achieved the most victories during the year.
Leaving aside Pogacar's 25, the biggest winner by far has been Soudal - Quick-Step's Belgian sprinter Tim Merlier, who clearly beats Mads Pedersen and Jonathan Milan. New Zealander Aaron Gate closes out the top 5 with no less than 11 wins, all of them in minor events.
The top 10 includes Jasper Philipsen, Remco Evenepoel and Jonas Vingegaard with 9 wins as well as the big winner at the end of the season, Marc Hirschi. Primoz Roglic is 19th, Biniam Girmay is 31st and Wout van Aert in 35th spot.
