Unlike in 2024 though, this year there will be no trip to Tirreno-Adriatico for Philipsen, although he will return to Italy to try and retain his title at
Milano-Sanremo (March 22nd), before he heads back to Belgium to take on
Classic Brugge-De Panne (March 26th), a race he also took victory at in 2024, and
Dwars door Vlaanderen (April 2nd), a race where he is still searching for that win.
Then finally, Philipsen is to head into France for potentially his two biggest targets of the year. At
Paris-Roubaix (April 13th), Philipsen has finished runner-up to teammate Mathieu van der Poel in each of the last two years so will be looking for another strong showing on the iconic cobbles, before the 2025
Tour de France gets underway on the 5th of July. A former Green Jersey winner and with nine Tour de France stages already on his palmares, the Belgian will no doubt be one of the fancied sprinters once again.
