Soudal - Quick-Step CEO Patrick Lefevere added: "We are happy to welcome Pascal in the team. He is a very strong rider, somebody who works hard and never gives up, fighting until the last drop of energy, and we are confident that with this mentality, he will immediately find his place here. At 27, he is still a young rider who can show plenty of beautiful things, and we hope that as a member of our squad he will do just that in the next two years."
Combined with the previous signing of Briton Ethan Hayter, this, at least on paper, looks to be a solid reinforcement in the classics area where the Wolfpack appeared to be rather toothless in recent seasons. However considering departures of Julian Alaphilippe and the likely move out for Kasper Asgreen, it's a question whether we'll see the good old Wolfpack anytime soon.
