Less than a month from retiring
from cycling after one of the greatest careers we have ever seen, Mark
Cavendish has got back on his bike in Miami. But no, he isn’t doing the
quickest U-turn on his
retirement decision, he’s been riding at the Best
Buddies Challenge, an organisation that gives a platform for people with
disabilities.
Cavendish was joined by his friends
and former Tour de France winners
Chris Froome and
Geraint Thomas for a great
cause. The
Best Buddies Challenge use sporting events such as cycling, running
or walking, to raise funds for Best Buddies International, a non for profit
charity that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
(IDD).
