True to the race’s demanding nature, the peloton faces a tough profile that will take the riders all the way to Mendukilo Kobazuloa. - Pog is riding in a different era . Less doping he says hoping. Look at Eddy the majority of his wins were due to not only been a strong and doped rider. But in them days teams only rode for their leaders. There was no chance of jumping up the road to win .if you leader was in poor form he was still the leader and you rode for him. - In 2024 analysts said that it was the greatest and most dominant year in cycling's history, of course by Pogacar. In 2025 analysts said Pogi was even better then in 2024, which means that the two greatest seasons in history were Pogi's. This year Pogi can once again surpass the two previous seasons and make it the three best seasons in history. And one more thing, Pogi is making his own history records (4 consecutive Monument wins: 2025-LBL, Lombardia, 2026-Sanremo and Flanders). If he wins Paris-Roubaix this coming Sunday (a tough one with MVDP), he'll probably win all five in one season. Never done before. He then will have 7 consecutive Monument wins... never done before. Don't even get me started on stage races this year (Tour de Romandie, Tour de Suisse and Tour de France)...and of course the WC in Montreal. - Tadej has become the master at creating, and maintaining gaps. It’s really a simple tactic, but you have to be the strongest in order to pull it off. Elite runners do it, too. First, an explosive burst of power, that no one else can match, creates the gap; and then go at the same speed as your pursuers. If you notice when Pogi does it, he’ll quickly get the gap to around one minute, then start backing off, to a more equal speed to whoever is trying to chase him.Oldguyonavelo07-04-2026
