Throughout the 2025 Tour Down under, the race jury attributes fines to some of the riders and sporting directors. Ultimately the fines can come in the form of money, time penalties or even UCI points, depending on the rule breaking. Here we present what decisions have been taking by the race commissaires.

Stage 1

DS Nicolas Guille (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale Team) - Non-compliance by a team assistant during feeding. 200CHF fine.

Stage 2

DS Steven de Neef (Intermarché - Wanty) - Breach of regulations or guidelines concerning vehicle movements during the race. 500CHF fine.

Staff member Robert Degger (Australian national team) - Non-compliance by a team assistant during feeding. 200CHF fine and yellow card.

Danny van Poppel (Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe). Irregular sprint. 500CHF fine; yellow card; relegation to last place in the rider's group; 7 point penalty in points classification and 3 point penalty in the KOM classification.

Stage 3

Pascal Eenkhoorn (Soudal - Quick-Step): Body bib number modified. 200CHF fine.

Soudal - Quick-Step DS Geert van Bondt: Body bib number modified. 100CHF fine.

Simon Dehairs (Alpecin-Deceuninck): Body bib number modified. 200CHF fine.

Alpecin-Deceuninck DS Gianni Meersman: Body bib number modified. 100CHF fine.

Cristian Rodríguez (Arkéa - B&B Hotels): Crossing the finish line in the opposite direction while still displaying race number. 200CHF fine.

Martin Tjotta (Arkéa - B&B Hotels): Crossing the finish line in the opposite direction while still displaying race number. 200CHF fine.

Javier Romo (Movistar Team): Crossing the finish line in the opposite direction while still displaying race number. 200CHF fine.

Nolan Mahoudo (Cofidis). Failing to respeect the timing of signing the signing-on sheet. 500CHF fine, 15 UCI points penalization.

Stage 5

Movistar Team DS Jurgen Roelandts: Team staff crossing the road between convoy cars. 200CHF fine.

Stage 6

Juan Pedro López of Lidl-Trek was disqualified from the race before the start of stage 6. This is because the race commissaires reviewed footage where he held on to a neutral service bike for an extended period of time, and on several occasions.
