Julian Alaphilippe returns to Tour Down Under for first time in a decade, leading Soudal - Quick-Step

The start of the 2024 road season is already quickly approaching. For the first time since 2014, Julian Alaphilippe will be making his season start at the Tour Down Under.

Leading a strong Soudal - Quick-Step team for the race, the 31-year-old Frenchman, who notably is in the final year of his contract with Patrick Lefevere's team, will be looking to start off what could be a career-defining season in style.

Supporting Alaphilippe are Josef Černý, James Knox, Casper Pedersen, Pieter Serry, Antoine Huby and Gil Gelders. "Excited to show you our line-up for the first race of the season, a strong seven-man squad led by two-time World Champion Julian Alaphilippe," says an official announcement by the Soudal - Quick-Step's social media page.
