Johan Bruyneel analyzed the figure of Tom Pidcock but also analysed Tadej Pogacar in a recent podcast, where his and Spencer Martin's discussion was regarding the possibility of him improving even further.

The former US Postal sport director also talked about how he sees Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard ahead of the upcoming campaign. About the Slovenian, his colleague Spencer Martin in 'The Move' podcast asked him the following question: "Can Tadej Pogacar be better in 2025 than in 2024 as he is planning, is it possible?".

His response was clear: "Yes, he has said that he always wants to improve and that means he feels he is still progressing. I think everybody progresses. Jonas is going to try to be at a high level. Remco is going to try to be at a high level. There's no reason for Pogacar not to try. So, if he keeps improving, phew, is he going to get 100 percent wins? I don't know..."

As for his goals for 2025, he thinks he will go for the Vuelta a España to "get it out of the way" and, as Pogi himself has already said, his first big goal for the year will be to finally try to win Milano-Sanremo:

"I think he wants to win Milano-Sanremo first, it's probably the Monument that suits him best in his calendar, I think he's not going to do the Giro and he's going to do the Vuelta, I think he wants to take the cross off the Vuelta box as soon as possible and from there he'll have a free calendar to choose still young."

About Jonas Vingegaard, on the other hand, he emphasized his reserved personality and that, obviously, he is preparing thoroughly to try to beat Pogacar again after what happened in 2024 in which, let's not forget, he suffered a lot because of his hard fall at Itzulia Basque Country:

"He has a completely different personality. He's training, he's resting, he's spending time with his family. He's preparing for next season. Jonas is completely different. He's not comfortable in the spotlight, being on stage, giving interviews. We have to respect that. His interviews are always monotonous and he always says the same thing which is not a bad thing. It's just not his personality. Vingegaard is thinking about how he can close the gap with Pogacar right now, that's what he's focused on".
