The
INEOS Grenadiers have unveiled their kit for the upcoming 2024 road season and officially confirmed their departure from Bioracer to Gobik.
Many had already been given a sneak preview of the striking, orange, red and black outfit last week when former Tour de France and Giro d'Italia winner
Egan Bernal leaked images in a quickly deleted post. The Colombian is front and centre of the big social media reveal however, alongside the likes of
Tom Pidcock and
Geraint Thomas.
The riders are also pictured on similarly striking, bright orange Pinarello bikes that are sure to help the INEOS Grenadiers riders stand out in the peloton over the coming year, with orange Kask helmets completing the ensemble.
“Collaborating with a team of the level of the Grenadiers provides GOBIK the opportunity for further enhancements in product innovation and development,” a press release issued by the team read. “Direct feedback from the team’s riders, who test and race the product throughout the season in all weather conditions, will help to evolve and perfect them, and through doing so will add to GOBIK's collection.”
“From when we first met with GOBIK in Murcia we felt there was a connection, I could tell they were ready to take on the challenge,” adds CEO John Allert. “The INEOS Grenadiers’ ethos is founded upon continual improvement and pushing boundaries, disrupting the norm; to keep doing that requires partners who are willing to be aligned to that ethos and be a part of the journey, GOBIK has shown us that’s the way it operates too. The quality of the race kit has such a dramatic impact on rider performance, therefore choosing a kit partner is not something we take lightly, I’m looking forward to seeing where this collaboration takes us and them in 2024.”
