General Classification Standings after Stage 20

GC-wise, Stage 20 was decisive at the top but stable in terms of positions. Jonas Vingegaard turned an already commanding Giro lead into a near-coronation, extending his advantage over Felix Gall to 5:22 after taking another 1:15 out of his closest rival on Piancavallo. With only Rome to come, the pink jersey is effectively settled.
Behind him, the podium held firm. Gall remains second, Jai Hindley stays third at 6:25, and Thymen Arensman remains fourth at 7:02 after limiting the damage late on. Derek Gee-West’s attack was not enough to change the top five, with the Canadian still fifth at 7:56.
Afonso Eulalio also defended sixth overall, while Davide Piganzoli remains eighth despite Visma’s attempts to put pressure on the young rider battle. The main movement came further down: Jan Hirt jumped four places to 12th, Igor Arrieta climbed two spots to 19th.

Points Classification Standings after Stage 20

Paul Magnier has effectively secured the points classification ahead of Rome, moving to 195 points and opening a huge gap over Jonathan Milan, who remains second on 103.
Vingegaard’s Stage 20 win also moved him up three places to fifth on 81 points, underlining just how dominant his Giro has been across every terrain. Guillermo Thomas Silva and Andreas Leknessund stay third and fourth after taking points from the day’s breakaway. With Magnier almost 100 points clear of Milan, the ciclamino jersey is settled barring something extraordinary on the final stage.

Youth Classification Standings after Stage 20

Afonso Eulalio survived the final mountain test and now looks set to win the young rider classification in Rome. The Portuguese rider actually strengthened his position on Stage 20, moving from 1:03 ahead of Davide Piganzoli to 1:13, despite Visma’s pressure on Piancavallo.
Piganzoli remains second for Team Visma | Lease a Bike, but his late push failed to crack Eulalio. Mathys Rondel stays third at 5:33, leaving the podium in the white jersey competition effectively settled. Further down, Igor Arrieta moved above Giulio Pellizzari into fifth after another aggressive day, while Ludovico Crescioli stayed eighth after animating the final climb. Barring disaster in Rome, Eulalio has done enough to secure the maglia bianca.
