Four years in prison for two men who robbed Tadej Pogacar's watch during Paris-Nice

Two men have been sentenced to four years in prison in France for stealing luxury items. Among them, a watch from Tadej Pogacar during the last edition of Paris-Nice.

According to Mundo Deportivo, two men, aged 32 and 37, were sentenced on Tuesday to four years in prison and a fine of 50,000 euros per head for the robberies.

The robberies took place before the last stage of the Paris-Nice race. According to the police, the thieves broke into the UAE Team Emirates hotel in Valbonne and stole the Richard Mille watch (team sponsor) worth an estimated 165,000 euros.

According to Nice-Matin, the two convicted thieves also stole a safe containing two other watches from a couple. They also allegedly stole a watch worth 300,000 euros from F1 driver Charles Lecrerc by pulling it straight off his wrist.
