For 2025, Red Bull – Bora – Hansgrohe has announced
ambitious goals for its leaders, with
Primoz Roglic targeting the Giro-Tour
double and Jai Hindley aiming for the Giro and Vuelta. As for Lipowitz, his
Grand Tour participation will hinge on team strategy. The German climber will
either race at the Tour de France or return to the Vuelta, where he could potentially
lead the team in a bid to build on his strong performance from last year.
Lipowitz’s season will begin at the Challenge Mallorca, a
popular series of one-day races that provides a solid start to the year. He
will then tackle the Strade Binche, a key one-day race, before shifting his
focus to stage racing. His calendar also includes the Tirreno-Adriatico, where
he will test himself against some of the best stage racers in the world, and
the Itzulia Basque Country.
While the decision between the Tour de France and the Vuelta
a Espana has yet to be finalised, both options present exciting opportunities
for the young German. A Tour debut would offer invaluable experience on
cycling's biggest stage, while a return to the Vuelta would allow him to build
on his 2024 performance, potentially vying for a podium finish or even a white
jersey victory.
