In 2024-2025 the Spaniard began the season on a roll. He took his first win in Dutch/Belgian grounds as an elite, beating Ryan Kamp and Jens Adams in Rucphen. However this was a week after his best career performance, where in his home country he had the support of the Spanish fans and flew to a second place at the Pontevedra European Championships, only beaten by a very strong Thibau Nys on the day.
