Cian Uijtdebroeks joins Team Visma | Lease a Bike in ongoing training camp

The Cian Uijtdebroecks affair promises to continue and the next chapter in this saga is the fact that the Belgian cyclist intends to join Jumbo-Visma's pre-season training camp in Denia, which will take place between December 12 and 21, the date of the team's official presentation in Amsterdam.
According to Cyclingnews, an inside source from the Dutch team even reveals that "the team will be holding a pre-season training camp. And we're going to announce Cian as our newest member. He'll be with us."
The controversy surrounding Cian Uijtdebroecks doesn't stop after last weekend the team that in 2024 will be called Team Visma | Lease a Bike announced a four-year deal with the Belgian cyclist and BORA - Hansgrohe (the rider's current team) quickly denied the news, claiming that the cyclist will be under contract with the German team until the end of 2024.
In the meantime, Uijtdebroeks' managers have also gone public with the termination of his contract dated December 1, 2023, a situation that also promises to cause a lot of ink in the future, with BORA - Hansgrohe demanding compensation of one million euros to accept the termination.
One thing is certain, Cian Uijtdebroeks intends to represent the Dutch team next season and will do everything in his power to force the transfer through. But this case promises to have consequences far beyond the dispute between the two teams and there is already pressure on Richard Plugge and his position as president of the AIGCP for allegedly favoring Jumbo-Visma in this case.
