Bahrain Victorious unveils its roster for the UAE Tour with Pello Bilbao eyeing GC glory

Bahrain Victorious has unveiled its roster for the forthcoming UAE Tour, with Pello Bilbao having his sights set on a high finish in the GC and Phil Bauhaus being designated as the team's sprinter.

Pello Bilbao's season kicked off with a less-than-ideal result at the Schwalbe Classic, but he soon found his stride, securing a win in the third stage of the Santos Tour Down Under. He followed this up with a silver medal in the second stage of the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana, and he is now hoping to parlay his third-place finish in last year's GC into an overall triumph.

“The lineup is a really good mixture of experienced members of the team, with Pello Bilbao leading the team and hoping to get another podium finish. He will be supported by Wout Poels in the mountains as well. We’ve also got the experienced Nikias Arndt, who is new to the team and has already performed extremely well in Australia. He will be leading out Bauhaus, who also had an exceptional start to the season and will be looking to take his chances here,” said the Sports Director Neil Stephens.
