BORA-hansgrohe have revealed their seven-man lineup for the UAE Tour with Irish sprint ace, Sam Bennett set to lead the team's quest for stage wins.
The 32-year-old Bennett is a former three-time stage winner at the UAE Tour, two of those victories coming in his last appearance at the race in 2021. Supporting Bennett will be fellow Irishman Ryan Mullen, experienced New Zealander Shane Archbold, Patrick Gamper and Danny van Poppel.
The remaining two riders in the Bora-Hansgrohe lineup represent more of a general classification ambition. Emanuel Buchmann is expected to be the team's biggest GC threat, the German having previously finished in 4th overall back in the 2019 edition of the UAE Tour with his support coming from 28-year-old German Ben Zwiehoff.
