Remco Evenepoel and Mikel Landa have made the trip over to the USA now two months before the start of the 2025 season to spend some proper time in the wind tunnel, to improve on a discipline that is becoming more and more key in pro cycling.
Evenepoel has already been in the USA, most precisely California and the headquarters of Specialized - Soudal - Quick-Step's bike sponsor - to work on his aerodynamic position in the time-trial bike. Mikel Landa is doing the same, but the Belgian is working towards the goal of a Grand Tour win in 2025 and also has a world title to defend in Rwanda.
"Hungry for more, striving for perfection," he wrote in an Instagram post where he showed some of his work in the wind tunnel. This year the 24-year old has had extreme success against the clock but the work is continuous to keep achieving the same results. In a few weeks, the Belgian team will assemble in eastern Spain for a team training camp.
